Training Classes at The Coventry School

(The dates listed below are the starting dates of eight-week programs.)

Kindergarten Puppy Training I: $175
Sit, down, come when called, retrieving. Learn not to pull or jump. Learn how to socialize for the life ahead! Intro to stay. For puppies aged 10-18 weeks, as of the start of the class.

Kindergarten Puppy Training II $175
This is the class for your puppy after completing one of our KPT I classes. Expand previously learned behaviors: sit, down, come, walk on lead. Add: stays, heel, distraction, distance and lots of strategies for the teenage dog.

Beginning I: $175 
For dogs over 18 weeks of age who have not been through training. Sit, stand, down, come, stay, heel ... with distractions. Limited to friendly dogs.

Beginning II: $175
Prerequisite: Beginning I class and good targeting, stays, recall. The dog that has a good foundation can go on to learn some distance work and more hand signals.  New skills are taught and higher level learning is developed.  This is not a remedial course.

Maintenance: $150

Designed as a continuation training for Beginning II or Intermediate class graduates. This class will challenge dogs with advanced exercises and loads of fun!

Agility: $150

Fun for the family dog! Not intended for competition. Dogs must be at least 9 to 12 months of age, have basic skills, and be dog-friendly. Preference to students who have completed a Beginning I or Puppy class.

Applications are accepted only with fee and copy of inoculation records.
NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN AFTER THE FIRST CLASS.
