Training

When it comes to training, we are the experts. Since 1974, we’ve been helping dog owners train and communicate with their pets.

We will help you use the latest positive techniques, including clicker training, to motivate and reinforce good behavior, teach new behaviors and change old ones. Positive does not mean permissive.  We help you understand why your dog behaves a certain way and set clear boundaries.  We believe strongly in reinforcing the behaviors we want.  Avoiding problems to begin with is much easier than correcting them later on.

We can teach you to:
- reinforce the right behaviors in your puppy
- help your rescue dog adapt to a new home
- focus your service dog
- overcome problem behaviors

We offer a wide range of choices to meet your needs, including group classes, dog sports, private lessons, behavioral consultations, special seminars and Red Cross pet first aid training.  We work with dogs of every breed and age: no breeds excluded.

The dates listed below are start dates of 8-week programs.
Unless noted otherwise, each class is 1 hour long.
